Set of Six Billy Haines Attributed Hollywood Regency Dining Chairs

Fantastic set of six Hollywood Regency dining chairs attributed to William "Billy" Haines. The chairs feature a klismos style backrest upholstered with a faux alligator leather inset conjoined to a kelly green leather seat. The hardwood frames are finished in a very dark stain appearing to be near ebony. The animal leather surfaces are bordered by brass nickel finished nail head tacks with the front corners of the seat cushion accented with alligator capped corners. The seat is supported by square tapered legs in the front and splayed in the rear. Dramatic profile with a body contouring solid wood back. From an old Hollywood, CA estate.
