A set of six cerused oak dining chairs attributed to Rene Gabriel. Newly reupholstered in green velvet. René Gabriel (1890–1950) was a French designer and decorative artist renowned for his contributions to the modernist movement in Paris. Born in 1890, he studied at the École Germain Pilon and the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. Gabriel's work encompassed furniture, wallpaper, fabrics, rugs, and ceramics, reflecting his innovative vision for 20th-century living.
