Dining chairs, elm, saddle leather, Italy, 1960s. Elegant set of six Italian dining chairs. The design of these chairs shows organic lines beautifully expressed by the used materials. Executed in solid elm wood, the frame features rounded forms as seen for example in the legs and the spindels. Beautifully patinated cognac saddle leather is used for the seating and backrest that is in overall good condition. Underneath the seating, the front and back spindle is slightly curved, emphasizing the rounded shape of the seating.
