Wimbledon-Furniture We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely set of solid Walnut Samuel Chan Alba High back dining chairs designed for Channels in Chelsea RRP £3240 Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll price it up for you THE STORY The Channels story begins with Samuel Chan’s love of woodworking as a schoolboy. Born in Hong Kong and educated in Britain, he spent seven years training to be a furniture designer in London, Middlesex and Buckinghamshire Universities. After completing his Masters degree, he worked initially in hotel design. In 1995 Samuel set up Channels with a studio-showroom in Southwest London and a workshop in Shropshire, thus signalling his intent to keep the entire design-make-sell process in-house. His aim from the beginning was to establish Channels as a furniture company known for clean, contemporary design and excellent craftsmanship. This continues to be his motivation, and to date Samuel’s work has been recognized with twelve Design Guild Marks. Samuel was named Furniture Designer of the Year at the Homes & Garden Design Awards 2015 The chairs are £495 each in Walnut and with the Alcantara upholstery an extra £45 totalling £3240 for the six chairs. The condition is very good, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, the upholstery is hard wearing and long lasting, with the exception of some very light normal patina marks here and there the only point to note is one of the back panels bends a few millimetres further back than the other, otherwise they are in excellent condition Dimensions Height:- 100.5cm Width:- 45.25cm Depth:- 52.5cm front to back, 45.25 seat alone Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
