Set of Twelve English Regency Style Walnut Dining Chairs
About the Item
Grand set of twelve distinctive dining chairs crafted from walnut. The set consists of ten dining chairs and two host armchairs. The walnut frames have a later restoration and upholstery by L. Rossi in San Francisco, CA. The chairs feature gracefully curved backs and scrolled arms. The frames are upholstered with a dramatic silk style textured upholstery in a stylish light citron green tone. The walnut has a rich, aged patina with restorations as seen in photos. The chairs are sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Handsome Regency profile with updated upholstery. The chairs are supported by neoclassical sabre legs in the klismos design aesthetic. Chairs have a leather makers stamp on bottom L. Rossi. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.

- Condition:Repaired: old repairs. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Later restoration by L. Rossi. Age appropriate wear with minor age cracks, chips, scuffs, and losses as seen in photos. Fabric has some stains which are difficult to see but very presentable.
