About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely suite of six Jacobean Revival hand carved walnut dining chairs with Bergere seats and backs.
A very good looking and well made suite, circa 1840-1860 but based on a much earlier design, the frames are hand carved from solid slabs of walnut, they are very ornate and really quite comfortable.
We have checked and secured the frames, cleaned waxed and polished all the timber, they are good to go for the new owners with the exception of one chair which has a collapsed bergere seat pad, I can have this replaced for the cost price should the new owner wish

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
