Suite of French Louis XV Carved Walnut Dining Chairs, Set of Eight
About the Item
Dress a dining table with this elegant suite of six side chairs and matching armchairs. Crafted in France, circa 1980, each chair stands on cabriole legs ending with escargot feet, over a scalloped apron. The chair features a tall arched and pitched back and a wide and deep seat. The classic Louis XIV style chairs are upholstered with a white cotton fabric and dressed with a decorative trim. The comfortable and sturdy dining chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina throughout the frame. The set comprises of 6 chairs and 2 matching armchairs with open armrests designed for host and hostess at the end of the table.
