Swedish Gustavian Period Chair Pair

About the Item

Set of two Swedish chairs with classical lotus pattern back splats, a design often attributed to the chair makers of the Stockholm Guild. The chair splats have the carved crest also typical of the Gustavian period. All four legs are carved and feature fleuron decoration on the front legs. Seats are upholstered with silk brocade. Sturdy construction. See measurements below.
