About the Item
This set of four vintage folding chairs, designed by Aldo Jacober for Alberto Bazzini in the 1960s, showcases the elegance of Italian mid-century modern design. Each chair features a sturdy beech wood and black lacquer finish.
The seats are made of Vienna Straw, providing both comfort and exquisiteness. These chairs are designed to be easily folded for convenient storage, combining practicality with stylish simplicity. Their clean lines and minimalistic design reflect the timeless appeal of mid-century modern aesthetics.
Aldo Jacober was an Italian designer born in Padua in 1935 and died in Milan in 2012. After studying architecture at the IUAV University of Venice, he worked in the design industry, where he became famous for his modernist furniture, his most famous project: Trieste folding chairs are on display at the permanent exhibition of the MOMA in NY.
