Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely sublime very rare and original, small sized 1930’s Liberty’s London Omersa brown leather hand dyed Hippo stool or footstool with original glass eyes
I have a pair of these as you can see in the photo above, the small infant and the larger medium one, this sale is for the stool mentioned above alone with the other one being listed under my other items
These were originally designed as footstools but now a days they are used for pure decoration, this one would have been to small in truth to use as a stool
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the condition is very good for the age, the leather has a wonderful patina throughout, this piece just screams period patina and charm
