A Palatial Scale 19th Century Louis XVI Style Giltwood Salon Set
About the Item
A palatial scale Louis XVI style salon set comprising four arm chairs and a matching sofa. The deeply carved frames are finished in gold leaf and upholstered in antique turquoise Italian silk velvet that originally hung as drapes in an English Stately Manor. As there was not enough drapery material to upholster the backs of the five piece set, the backs are upholstered in
color matched moiré fabric.
