The distinctive Norwegian carving along this high back bench and pair of armchairs is made more dramatic with the colorful painted details and dragon heads at the end of each arm.
Please enlarge photos to appreciate the hand-painted finish, with orange, red, blue, yellow, and green seen throughout. While the paint is old, it was likely added at a later date from when this set was first crafted.
