About the Item

1930s Czech Lounge Chair by Koželka & Kropáček – 12 Available for Bespoke Projects A rare opportunity to acquire a curated collection of vintage Czech lounge chairs designed by Karel Koželka and Antonín Kropáček in the 1930s — celebrated icons of European modernism and recipients of international acclaim at the 1937 Paris Exposition. These sculptural lounge chairs are masterfully crafted from solid beech with graceful bentwood arms and a rich, timeworn patina that speaks to their nearly century-long history. Their elegant proportions and clean lines exemplify the refined functionalism of early Czechoslovak design. Each chair is upholstered in a tasteful geometric fabric that complements its modernist roots. A limited number are also available with original vintage upholstery, offering exceptional possibilities for restoration or preservation projects. With 12+ chairs available, this set is ideal for bespoke interiors — from boutique hotels to luxury commercial spaces. Their architectural presence and unmatched design pedigree elevate any room they inhabit. Dimensions: Width: 67 cm Depth: 78 cm Height: 79 cm Seat Height: 42 cm Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The wood frames feature a beautifully aged patina with only minor signs of use, consistent with age and authenticity. Price listed is per chair. Bulk pricing and custom upholstery services available upon request. Worldwide shipping available.
