About the Item
A collectible piece, very important Chair in US Design History designed by American designer Ray Komai, very rare early production.
This chair was shown in the US Pavillon on the Milan Triennale in 1951.
The frame has a stunning sculptural form and it's made of bent plywood and walnut veneer.
Produced by JG Furniture in the late 1940s.
The early chairs from the 1949 have a wooden bracket on the back of the seat.
The piece is in original condition and has a museum quality.
