1960's Danish Teak Lounge Chair for ESA by Langfeld Design in Black Leather
About the Item
This Danish chair from the 60's is in general a rare find and even more so in this great condition. The lounge chair is from a company that was named ESA Møbelfabrik in Esbjerg Denmark and designed by an in-house designer named Langfeld. The company has a short but illustrious life and production in the 1960's and 70's and produced mainly leather furniture that was both cutting edge style-wise and of very high quality. This chair which is in unusual great condition has a similar stance and style as the Famous model 4410 from Folke Ohlsson for Fritz Hansen, but is a bit more cutting edge. The cushions are filled with down and the leather is still supple and without cracking. Raised on teak legs witnessing of the high quality. Very cutting edge in its day. Overall very good condition.
