California Design Architectural Club Lounge Chair + Ottoman Van Keppel Green
About the Item
Original vintage design.
Custom / limited production.
Survivor.
VKG pieces were used in the 'Case Study Houses' program that was promoted by 'Arts + Architecture' magazine 1930's -60's
Their designs were simple with clean lines and timeless form that complimented the post and beam architecture of the era. Made of solid walnut with enameled steel bar support (original vintage condition) with wool blend nubby fabric violet / purple hue.
The seating from the backrest to the ottoman is roughly 49" long / deep.
Solid, sturdy and stout.
