British Midcentury 1960s Lurashell Lounge Chair 2
About the Item
Stylish midcentury lounge chair by Lurashell, with black fibreglass shell, standing on shaped beechwood legs. Turquoise upholstery. Maker's embossed mark along with the number 1. Beverley range. 1960s.
"One of life's luxuries" was the company's slogan in the 1960s.
The chair has been fairly recently reupholstered in a turquoise fabric, this shows minimal signs of use. There has been a repair to the underside of the fibreglass seat. This is very solid and sound and will cause no problems. Please refer to the photographs.
The lounger is very comfortable, with new foam to the main. The beechwood legs are clean and very sturdy.
One of two available, the other a variant design with stretchers.
