About the Item

A lovely pair of Scandinavian armchairs designed by Bruno Mathsson and made by DUX Sweden in the 1960’s. A simple and elegant design by one of the preeminent Scandinavian designers of the period the Eva chair has been featured in design museums all over the world. We undertook an extensive restoration on these chairs, the old tired webbing was replaced with new original linen webbing, and the birchwood has been cleaned and refinished with Danish oil to bring out its beautiful colour and patina and to protect it for years to come. A beautiful Scandinavian design by Bruno Mathsson in excellent condition, the perfect mid century accompaniment for any interior.
