Danish Art Deco Lounge Chair in Olive Green Velvet and Elm

About the Item

Easy chair, velvet, elm, Denmark, circa. 1940 This lounge chair of Danish origin comes with an olive green velvet upholstery that beautifully blends in with the warm tone of the wooden frame executed in elm. The design is based on a solid construction featuring curved lines and round edges, giving the lounge chair character. The armrests are curved in a graceful manner, with a gentle curl that develops into a curved ending with charming carved leaves. The front legs are beautifully sculpted that allude to the stylistics traits of the artistic Art Deco movement. Furthermore, this chair is designed to provide an ultimate level of comfort due to the slightly titled backrest that supports the seating posture and the thick upholstery. Kindly note that the chair is in good, used condition with slight signs of use visible on the fabric and wooden parts. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
