De Pas D'Urbino Lomazzi Ciuingam chairs BBB Bonacina 1967
About the Item
Super puffy shaped and highly comfortable so called Ciuingam lounge chairs designed by Jonathan DePas, Donato D'Urbino & Paolo Lomazzi and manufactured by BBB Bonacina, Italy 1967. This super puffy set of chairs is fully foam filled and has a plastic bottom structure. Because this was fully filled with foam, this provides a lot of comfort and softness. The rounded shapes and bulky look makes this a typical sixties design. Featuring round lines and beautiful stitching to the upholstery, giving the whole a different dimension. The chairs were fully reupholstered in a grey flat bouclé which fits the sofa's design very well. The fabric feels as soft as the set looks. You just want to jump in and never come out of these ones. They are signed at the bottom BBB Bonacina and the sofa is published in many different Italian design books and magazines as this was a true iconic design in Italian design history. We have a matchig sofa from the same series, available in another listing. This sofa you can also see on the last 3 pictures of this listing.
Like all of our upholstered pieces these can also be newly upholstered to your admiration. Ask our experienced upholstery department for an affordable quote for the item you want customized. We only use the best quality fabrics, foam and materials for all of our items. With the reupholstery we will keep the originality in mind so the piece doesn’t lose its value and will be ready for years of use again.

Achille Castiglioni Quark desk BBB Bonacina Italy 1982
By BBB Bonacchina, Achille Castiglioni
Located in Roosendaal, Noord Brabant
Very nice post-modern 'Quark' desk designed by Achille Castiglioni and manufactured by BBB Bonacina, Italy 1982. The Quark series included multiple desks designed as a modular system. The desks have a consistent structure and customers could customize the side parts and cabinets according to their preferences. These desks are made of beech wood painted in black. Each desk has containers on both sides each equipped with three drawers. On the back of these containers, there is an open space suitable for placing items like books. The frame of the desk is made of a sturdy triangular wooden structure featuring an angled plywood rib on the inner side. This design not only makes the desk strong but also gives it an iconic and recognizable shape. In good condition with normal surface wear.
