Duistt Wormley Cane and Brass Armchair, in the Style of Edward Wormley

About the Item

Designed by DUISTT and handcrafted in Portugal, the Wormley armchair is inspired by the Edward Wormley Captain's chair from 1950s American modernism. Constructed from a sycamore wood frame with a satin black finish, the lounge chair features a curved backrest in natural cane. The integrated armrests flow seamlessly into the legs and polished brass is used as detailing on the feet and on the hardware across the frame. The seat features a single cushion upholstered in neutral bouclé style fabric giving extra comfort. A beautiful piece designed to last, this elegant Wormley dining chair would make a fantastic addition to any contemporary living space.
