A rare “Cushion Chair with Arms” by George Nakashima, crafted in American cherry with signature paddle arms and a slatted backrest. Made at the Nakashima studio in New Hope, Pennsylvania, this example dates from the 1970s and comes with a digital copy of the original order card. The chair retains its original webbing and has been upholstered in natural linen. A timeless piece by one of the most revered American woodworkers, blending Japanese philosophy with American craft.
