Gervasoni pair of Model 526 bamboo lounge chairs, Italy, early 1960s

About the Item

A rare pair of lounge chairs, Model 526, produced by Gervasoni in the early 1960s and designed by Werther Toffoloni and Piero Palange, presents a captivating blend of timeless design and natural materials. These bamboo lounge chairs, with their unique circular shape, exude an air of elegance and versatility suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings. Measuring 100cm in diameter and standing at a height of 67cm, these chairs offer ample space for comfortable lounging. Their vintage condition is exceptional, boasting a beautiful patina that adds character to the bamboo. Importantly, they remain structurally sound, with no cracks or damages evident. To ensure their longevity, our internal atelier has thoughtfully applied a protective varnish, ensuring that these chairs will retain their allure for many years to come. Their presence in any space is sure to enhance its aesthetic appeal, creating an inviting and sophisticated ambiance.
