Hammock or "Rede Cunha" by Zanini de Zanine
Massive solid Ipe wood hammock designed by Zanini de Zanine. Made from solid reclaimed Ipe architectural beams. This piece was hand made in Zanini's workshop in the Sertaozinho favela in Rio De Janeiro. The techniques Zanini uses are time honored principles of wood working that he learned from his father, famed Brasilian designer/architect Jose Zanine Caldas. Zanini works with many of the actual tools that his father used while he was alive.
