This bamboo & cane hanging chair was produced by Rohe in Noordwolde The Netherlands.
Noordwolde a town in the north east of Holland became the heart of the Dutch wicker/rattan/bamboo industry in the 1950's
Specialized craftsmen created gems of wicker and bamboo furniture

In the 1960's the industry was flourishing and this chair is a perfect example of the 60's time spirit

It changed color over the years by previous owners and comes now in white

This chair is an iconic 60's design representing the revolutionary new free thinking that generated the flower power generation

    Good. The chair has been painted over the years and a few small area's have rubbing where you can see the old paint (yellow & baby blue), the metal frame is in original black area with minor loss of woven rattan (see photo) that will be fixed.
