A fabulous rare pair of strikingly detailed organic emperor's cube lounge chairs. While unmarked, the pieces are consistent with the coveted Calif-Asia rattan production of the early 1970's. Expertly conceived and constructed rattan and cane frame with a stunning cordovan lacquer finish with beautiful tortoiseshell highlights. Incredible design and craftsmanship. Extremely comfortable. Sophisticated organic jewelry designed to anchor an important space. Excellent Restored Condition. Professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The rattan projects a rich warm range of color.
