About the Item

A chieftain chair in mahogany and green leather. This is a faithful remake produced by Interior Crafts out of Chicago in the mid to late 1990’s. The chair was made for structure stores, an American clothing brand. Interior Crafts produced a chair for each store and based them off an original Finn Juhl for Niels Vodder Chieftain chair. When the stores filed for bankruptcy a few of these chairs were salvaged but most were thrown away. The green leather is the signature detail which easily distinguishes these chairs from its original counterparts. This chair retains its original manufacturers label. Dimensions: W41” x D32” x H37.75” x SH14.5 Condition: Some scratching to the leather. One 3” scratch being the most egregious on the right arm Nicks and gouges to the mahogany frame. All original finish commercial store survivor. Shipping: This item will be shipped by a personal courier. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks fore delivery depending upon your distance form he wast coast and our shippers routes.
