Lounge chair, leather, aluminum, Italy 1970s A lounge chair made in Italy in the 1970s. This chair strongly represents the essence of furniture design of the 1970s, going beyond the strict conventions of modernism, with the exploration of the different qualities of materials, use of pop colors, and peculiar and symbolic appearances as outcome. The base of this chair is made in aluminum, a strong and sleek material contrasting the leather cushions. The high backrest provides excellent support, creating a perfect spot to relax or take a cat nap. The large cushions are partially tufted to keep them in place at the armrests, seats and headrests. Please note that this item is in used condition, the leather shows signs of wear and use and damages. Reupholstery and restoration are advised and can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier.
