These individualistic chairs possess a look that is eternally relevant regardless of current trends, a charm that would likely be called ‘the mid-century modern style’. Even after decades, interior items from Italian manufacturers look like works of art. As this lounge chair exemplifies, modern design from the country leaned towards a minimalist approach with open spaces and clean, curvy lines.
The design language is entirely dedicated to the organic-modern style of the 1950s. Much like in Scandinavia, the mid-century era in Italy gave form to furniture pieces defined by quality, functionality, and reliability. The organically shaped seat gives this model a sculptural and striking appearance.
