About the Item
The Laminex chair, a folding chair consisting of only two elements, was made from beech wood that was laminated together and then formed.
The S-shaped element of the front legs and the backrest accommodates the seat element by fitting into one another. The chair can be folded up and is therefore very space-saving to store (see last photo).
The Laminex chair was designed in 1964 by Danish designer Jens Nielsen. With this chair, Nielsen won first prize in a competition organized by a Danish veneer manufacturer.
