Pair of Danish 1940s Lounge Chairs with Wood on Armrests
About the Item
Very elegant pair of Danish lounge chairs from the late 1940s to early 1950s. The chairs have coil springs in the seat which generally was fazed out of furniture production by early to mid 1950s. The chairs have a very high level of craftmanship but are unmarked and we are not sure of maker and designer. The pair was reupholstered at a later point in a grey wool fabric that despite some signs of wear remains in usable condition. The wooden armrests show just a minimum of natural age wear. We can reupholster the chairs at a very competitive cost. Overall very good condition.
