About the Item
Pair of sublime mid-scale Danish club or lounge chair made in the 1940s. The chairs Bear resemblance Fritz Hansen's to Fritz Hansen's well known club chair designs but offer the same in a slightly more compact configuration. These chairs are very comfortable with coil springs in seat and backrest with a very strong presence to anchor any room. The Danes didn't make any lounge chairs on Swivels but since a lot of our customers ask for swivels we have added swivel bases to these chairs. The bases are made of metal swivels mounted to a wooden base. Quite unique indeed. They have been re-upholstered in a beige lambswool and fully refurbished. Overall great condition.
