Pair of Fine Antique English Aesthetic Movement Lolling Chairs

About the Item

Pair of English lolling chairs with noteworthy carved and turned oak frames, circa 1870s. Custom upholstered in brown tone-on-tone raised fabric with full arm manchettes, gently contoured backrest with a fluted cresting rail, the armrests with shell and carved elements which conform to the legs and the whole resting on castors. Dimensions: 27 1/2" W, 32" D, 16" seat height, 41" H Condition: Overall condition is good with only acceptable age/use wear including a few slight losses, nicks and wear to the frame which do not detract from the fine presentation.
