About the Item

All original set of 2 lounge chairs designed by Dutch designer Louis Van Teeffelen. The walnut frame and off-white Naugahyde upholstery are both in great vintage condition. Louis van Teeffelen (1921–1972) was a Dutch furniture designer known for his mid-century modern creations. Co-founder of the popular Dutch furniture company WéBé, he gained acclaim for his innovative designs in the 1950s and 1960s. Van Teeffelen's work often featured clean lines, organic shapes, and a blend of functionality with aesthetic appeal. His designs, including chairs, tables, and storage units, reflect the era's emphasis on simplicity and functionality.
