Pair of Lounge Chairs Attributed to Harvey Probber, Erwin Lambeth, 1960s

About the Item

A stunning pair of mid-century modern lounge chairs attributed to Harvey Probber. Made by Erwin Lambeth- a company known for their high standards in quality. Featuring solid walnut frames, with highly sculpted knife edge style legs. The frames were restored with an emphasis on showcasing the exceptional wood grain. Featuring a curved seat front, and a unique cutout on the backrest, these are a masterclass in forward thinking design of the period. Reupholstered in a neutral light seafoam velvet that will work in a variety of decors. The velvet upholstery provides an overall softness that perfectly compliments the masculinity of the wood frames. These would work well in any mid-century modern or contemporary setting.
