Pair of lounge chairs, oak, fabric, Czech Republic, 1950s
These beautifully designed lounge chairs hold a striking construction by means of the sculpted elements discernible in the wooden frame. The armrests are characterized by curved, strong lines with spherical endings. The backrest is supported by evenly spaced elongated slats. The thick seating cushions are upholstered in a burgundy red fabric. Overall, this pair of armchairs conceals an evolved provincial character with great quality of elegance.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer.
