About the Item
A more diminutive pair of Club Chairs dated to the 1950’s and attributed to Kipp Stewart. Having nicely time-softened mahogany frames with sloping arm with tapering legs and upholstered in a Royal Blue fabric with fixed seat and loose back cushion. Comfortable and quintessentially Mid Century style at its best.
Each Club Chair measures 24.5” wide by 26.5” deep by 28” high. The seat height is 14”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. As stated, some level of restoration may be desired. There is some age-related wear including some fading and finish loss to the frames as well as a few nicks, chips and scratches as shown in photos. The cambric is torn on one club chair and there is an old masking tape fix. The fabric, while still vibrant, does have some pilling which does not detract from the striking Mid Century presentation.
