About the Item

Voguish pair of low slung, cane backed lounge chairs attributed to Michael Taylor for The Baker Furniture Company, circa 1950/70. The chairs feature solid cherry frames with stylized sculpted curved arms that continue into the scooped caned back, on tapered legs. Both chairs are in good, original, clean and ready to use condition, specific condition report as follows. Minor cosmetic wear to finish on the frames, upholstered seat cushions have hardened over the years, interior foam should be replaced, and the fabric shows expected signs of age and use. Well crafted, chic, sophisticated architecturally designed, Hollywood Regency pair of chairs. Offered and priced as a pair. Total H 34.5 x Arm H 24.5 x Seat H 17 x W 24 x D 21 inches.
