Rafaella Crespi, pair of lounge chairs, rosewood and fabric, Italy, 1960. These rare Italian chairs are of the highest-quality in both material and design. The combination of the upholstery and the warm solid rosewood frame is just beautiful. The design has on the one hand geometric functional shapes, as can be seen in the frame. On the other hand, these comfortable lounge chairs are voluptuous and organic in both the slightly tilted seats as the curved fabric armrests. The fabric of this chair is, just like the other materials, in good aged condition.
