Rare Adjustable Lounge Chair by Jan Bočan & Jan Šrámek & Zbyněk Hřivnáč

About the Item

Rare and unique lounge chair made of bent laminated plywood. Manufactured in limited series of 1 000 pcs by Drevopodnik Holešov, former Czechoslovakia in 1950s. Designed by company trio of famous Czech architects Jan Šrámek, Zbynek Hrivnác and Jan Bocan. Can be adjusted into three positions. This extremely rare piece remains in its original condition. Structurally sound with some traces of wear and use on the wood, fabric ripped in one place. Dimensions: width 70cm, seat height 38 cm, armrest height 55 cm, depth 80-90 cm, height 100-110 cm.
