About the Item

Rare early model of an iconic lounge chair. Designed by Jindrich Halabala for UP Závody, Czechoslovakia in 1931. Fabric attributed to famous Czech textile designer Antonín Kybal. The chair can be adjusted by pulling the bottom part of the seat construction. Made of bent oakwood. In very good original condition with some traces of wear and age. Both wood and cushions expertly cleaned. Collectors piece, yet ready to be used. New cushions can be made upon your request based on your preferences of material and color.
