Rare Art Deco Lounge Chair by Louis Sognot for Primavera
About the Item
A rare lounge chair, designed by Louis Sognot for Primavera, was first presented at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1927. The chair features an exposed ash wood base and gently curved backrest and is upholstered in warm toned neutral mohair velvet, with a down-filled sear cushion. This unique and beautifully restored piece combines functional design with the distinctive characteristics of the Art Deco period.
