Set of 4 rattan pod chairs 60s
About the Item
The set of 4 rattan pod chairs is in good condition. The wickerwork shows no signs of damage and is solid; the metal frame covered in black plastic has some of the plastic coating coming off and shows signs of wear. The chairs have developed a beautiful patina over the years. The seat shell in the shape of a tapered pot makes sitting comfortable. These armchairs were designed and manufactured in East Germany in the 1960s and are a classic of German furniture design.
