Vittorio Varo for I.P.E., pair of lounge chairs model 'Cigno, fabric, chrome-plated metal, Italy, 1968.
The Italian designer Vittorio Varo created a striking design that adds a vibrant allure to your room and intensifies the experience of relaxing itself. A wing-like structure that resembles a butterfly is used for the construction of the seat. A tubular frame holds the same curved shapes as the body, creating a unified whole. The large seat and tilted backrest ensure that it is a true delight to have a pleasant and enjoyable time while sitting on it. The fabric has an overall salmon color combined with a checkered pattern of grey tones. The artistry and well-conceived proportions of this particular lounge chair allows you to place them as a visual statement in your interior.
