The leather does show vintage wear such as scratches, areas of discoloration and a few pen marks (all of which can be seen in the detail photos provided). With that said there are no rips or odors present. We love the leather in its patinaed condition but if you'd like to have this sofa re-upholstered please message us prior to checkout to discuss options and pricing. The sculptural wooden feet, painted black in semi-gloss paint, show only minor scuffs and light nicks. This sofa is exceptionally comfortable, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
