Fabricius and Kastholm tarmac High Back Bird Desk Chair Swivel Base FK 6725, 1964- Original midcentury leather desk chair (seat height 19") designed by Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm for Kill International in 1964
We have a total of 4 identical pieces available.
Beautiful swiveling high back desk chair on casters and a tripod base of polished cast aluminum and stainless steel. Early Kil model from tarmac (grey, green, brown) leather in very good condition. The overall condition is also very good, the leather is in original condition with minor signs of wear, no holes, little scratching and lively rub off at the sleaves (arm-rests). We have treated the leather with a special leather conditioner to preserve the color and smoothness for years to come. With a seat height of 19" it's the higher executive version and can be perfectly used for a desk. The oblique lines of the design especially in the front seat section, do not only shape a beautiful and iconic chair but also serve the functional aspect for a desk chair to fit under a table.
