Georgian period mahogany open armchair with fretwork back

About the Item

This is a very well made and great condition Georgian period mahogany open armchair. The fretwork back is very fine and has an almost Art nouveau look to it even though the chair is easily over 100 years prior to this period. This came from the Scottish boarders and I believe is a Scottish made piece. Elegant design and shape as well as being a generous size making it perfectly useable and would make a perfect desk chair.
