High Back Supporto Chair by Frederick Scott
About the Item
The high back Supporto desk chair, winner of many awards. In 1991 the International Federation of Architects voted the Supporto chair "the chair that most influenced modern office seating".
It is one of the first office chairs to be designed to strict ergonomic principles. This high back Supporto chair comes with arms die cast polished aluminum frame and five star bases with castors. Red fabric upholstery.
The seat height is adjustable via a pneumatic safety spring. The back is adjustable for rake and can be locked in any position. Designed for Hille by Frederick Scott.

Frederick Scott (14 July 1942 – 31 January 2001) was a British designer who was best known for creating this Hille Supporto chair. The Supporto was designed in 1976 and released in 1979.
