Louis XVI Style Beech Swivel Office Chair – Late 19th Century

About the Item

This walnut-toned beech swivel office chair rests on four turned legs with fixed fluting. The gondola-shaped backrest is adorned with a hat-shaped crossbar, and the armrests are striped and carved with scrollwork. The curved uprights join a reserve apron with square feet decorated with flowers. The seat, back, back, and sides are upholstered in genuine two-tone studded leather. This refined and comfortable chair would be perfect for a living room, office, or bedroom, for example. ******** Period: Late 19th century Excellent condition of the structure, with wear to the leather consistent with age and use.
