About the Item
These Kill 6727 chairs, the so-called Bird or Tulip chairs, are the hard-to-find version of an office chair with height adjustment. The blue leather of the chairs is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina and minimal signs of wear. Only one chair shows a scuff on the corner of an armrest. The chrome frames with smooth-running castors show hardly any signs of aging. The hydraulic height adjustment works perfectly on all chairs and allows a seat height of 43 - 51 cm. These chairs can also be equipped with glides instead of castors and can also be used as dining room chairs.
This Kill version is the older original version designed by Kastholm & Fabricius for Alfred Kill International. These chairs were continued to be produced by Knoll in a later version. The designer duo Jorgen Kastholm & Preben Fabricius designed these chairs in the style of functionally aesthetic Scandinavian design in the 1960s and created an absolute design icon.
